De c libris concessis burgensibus Eboraci ad claudendum villam suam.—Rex baronibus suis de Scaccario salutem. Sciatis quod concessimus civibus nostris Eboraci in auxilium claudendi civitatem nostram Eboraci, centum libras de ultimo tallagio nostro assiso in predicta civitate Eboraci, que quidem centum libre assise fuerunt super crucesignatos ejusdem civitatis; et ideo vobis mandamus quod ipsos cives de predictis centum libris quietos esse faciatis, sicut predictum est. Teste me ipso apud Westmonasterium, viij die Maii.
