Bourg, Gironde was given a grant of murage dated 8/3/1338.

Wording
Grant to the mayor, jurats and community of the town of Bourg (Burgh', ar. Blaye) that they may take 16 pitchers of wine or the value of the same in money from each tun of wine sold in taverns both of their own wine and that of aliens for the term of ten years, and thereafter during pleasure, in aid of the enclosing of the town. The value of the wine is to be put to the enclosure of the town.
