Barones Angliae regem suum diffidant et ei homagia sua resignant; occupata Norhantona, quaedam castella regis invadunt, praedas ex praedas ex praediis ejus viriliter diripiunt. Inde, pactis confoederationibus per internuncios cum civibus Londoniae, et comite Saresberiae adveniente Londoni, xvi. kalendas Junii, {Sunday, 17 May} die Dominica mane, dispositis agminibus ad civiatem accedunt, et civibus ad officium divinum occupatis, sine contradictione irruptionem faciunt. Ingressi vero, regios fautores quos invenerunt, ceperunt et eorum bona diripuerunt; Judaeorum domos invaserunt; apothecas et scrinia confregerunt, et exhaustas multo tempore in hac expeditione religiosa crumenas abunde refarcierunt. Inde Robertus filius Walteri, marescallus exercitus Domini et sanctae ecclesiae, et Gaufridus de Mandaville, comes Estsexiae et Glowecestriae, instaurandis muris civiatis ex lapideis domibus Judaeorum quotidie vigilanter intendunt;
