There is associated evidence for murage, dated 1384, concerning Kilkenny, Ireland.

Primary Sources
Otway-Ruthven, A.J., 1961, Liber Primus Kilkenniensis , {English translation of McNeill, C.,1931, Liber Primus Kilkenniensis: the earliest of the books of the corporation of Kilkenny now extant. (Irish Maunscripts Commission, Dublin)} p. 44-5

Secondary Sources
Thomas, A., 1992, The Walled Towns of Ireland Vol. 2 (Irish Academic Press) p. 126-32

Comments
The Kilkenny town records throw much light generally on the practicalities of murage administration in this period, apart from recording instances of embezzlement which are also known from other towns, for example in 1384 and 1386 (LPK 44-5). (Thomas)
