Bourg, Gironde (Bourg Blaye) was given a grant of murage dated 14/3/1331.

20 March. Westminster . For the mayor, jurats and commune of the town of Bourg Blaye .
Grant to the mayor, jurats and community of the town of Bourg that they should be able to take 16 pitchers of wine or the value of the same in money from each tun of wine that is sold in taverns in the town both of their own wine and that of aliens in aid of the enclosure of the town {with walls} for the term of ten years just as it is accustomed to be done elsewhere, on condition that the value of the wine is used for the enclosure and other necessary matters of the town.
