Radnor (Radenouere) was given a grant of murage dated 20/7/1290.

A further murage grant was made on 20 July 1290 to 'the bailiffs and good men of Radenouere for three years' and this takes over 19 lines of the Patent Roll for 18 Edward I (m.15). The list of tolls is formidable, between 40 and 50 itmes being named, including cloth of Ireland 'Galeweyth et Worthstede' (Cole)
