Bregerac (Brygerac) was given a grant of murage dated 23/10/1242.

This was in the form of:-

Wording
Bond to Elias Rydel of Brygerac in 250 marks remaining due to him out of 500 marks given to him by the king for the strengthening of his town of Bregerac, to be paid out of the first money which comes from England.
Bond also to him for the payment out of the same money to him and the knights and Serjeants, whom he maintains in the king's service, as is contained in another writ which he has.

Granted by Henry III. (Regnal year 26). Granted at La Sauve Majeure.
