Wording
Exemption for the men and tenants of the manors of Swynefford and Chenet alias Clent, Staff., under the customary privilege of ancient demense of the crown (to which these manors are shown to belong by a certificate made to Henry VIII. and remaining on the file of Chancery), from paying toll, stallage, chevage, pontage, picage, pavage, murage, lastage and passage throughout the realm, from contributing to expenses of knights of the shire coming to Parliament, and from being put in assizes, juries or recognitions except in their own manorial courts.

If Chenet is Cannock (It is recorded in Domesday under this name) the manor was royal in Domesday but was gifted to the Dean and Chapter of Lichfield in 1189.
