Worcester (Wigornia) was given a grant of murage dated 9/2/1224.

De consuetudine capienda. Homines de Wigornia habent litteras patentes de consuetudine capienda in villa Wigornie in auxilium ville sue claudende usque in duos annos a die Purificacionis Beate Marie anno regni domini regis octavo, in forma que continetur in rotulo patentium de anno ipsius regis quarto pro burgensibus de Bruges et de Salopesbiry de auxilio habendo ad villas suas claudendas.
Teste ipso rege, apud Westmonasteriurn, ix die Februarii, anno etc. viij.
